Our Team

Meet Pooja

Pooja works from an attachment-based and trauma-informed framework, with particular attention to how relational trauma, prolonged stress, and unsafe dynamics shape emotional patterns over time.

She has a special interest in working with individuals impacted by domestic violence, grief and loss, neurodivergence, and the psychological effects of chronic illness and persistent pain. In her work, Pooja helps clients understand how their experiences have influenced the ways they cope, relate, and make sense of themselves—without rushing change or reducing their experiences to symptoms.

Pooja brings a culturally attuned and socially aware perspective to therapy. As an East Indian counsellor, and with fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and Kiswahili, she is mindful of how culture, family roles, migration, and intergenerational expectations can influence emotional expression, boundaries, and help-seeking. She creates space for these dynamics to be explored with respect and nuance.

Her approach is collaborative and reflective, emphasizing safety, clarity, and client agency. She views therapy as a process of understanding what has been shaped by past experiences, and supporting clients in moving forward in ways that feel aligned and self-directed.
