Meet Sabrina
Sabrina Ingram is a Registered Professional Counsellor who brings warmth, depth, and a grounded, comforting presence to her work with clients.
Known for her ability to put people at ease, she creates a space that feels safe, open, and gently inviting—where clients can explore even the most complex emotions with honesty and care. Her therapeutic style is non-judgmental, client-centered, and collaborative. She draws from a variety of modalities to support mindfulness and self-awareness, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move toward meaningful change.
Sabrina is especially passionate about supporting women and gender-diverse individuals through experiences related to reproductive health, trauma, and sexuality. She offers specialized care for those navigating pregnancy loss, birth trauma, abortion, sexual assault, and the emotional transitions of perimenopause and menopause. Her approach combines emotional safety with deep curiosity, allowing clients to feel truly seen and supported in their healing.
In addition to her work at Safe Haven Counselling, Sabrina continues to work in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, where she has spent many years supporting individuals impacted by poverty, addiction, and systemic trauma. Her broader background includes work in child protection, mental health, and addiction services, and she brings a deep respect for community-based care and the strength of those she serves.
Sabrina’s clients often describe her as insightful, steady, and gently humorous—someone who can hold both the depth of the work and the light that emerges through it.
