Meet Claire

Claire is a Registered Clinical Counsellor known for her depth, intuition, and emotionally attuned presence. With over a decade of clinical experience, she works through an attachment-centred lens, helping individuals and couples understand how early relational experiences continue to shape their inner world, emotional patterns, and ways of relating.

Much of Claire’s work is with people who learned – often very early – to be capable, accommodating, or self-reliant at the expense of their own needs. As individuals, they may appear high-functioning on the outside while feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they really are beneath the roles they’ve learned to inhabit. As couples, these same patterns can show up as distance, reactivity, misattunement, or repeated cycles of conflict and withdrawal.

Claire offers a steady, compassionate space to slow things down, make sense of these patterns, and begin creating more secure ways of relating—to oneself and to one another.

Her approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices, all held within a relational and attachment-informed framework. Claire works carefully with pacing and nervous system safety, particularly when supporting attachment wounds, relational trauma, and long-standing patterns rooted in early experiences—whether those patterns are lived internally or between partners.

Claire is especially passionate about supporting women navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and relational disconnection, as well as couples who want to move beyond blame and surface communication skills toward deeper emotional safety, understanding, and intimacy.

She brings years of experience helping people reframe their struggles not as personal failures, but as intelligent adaptations that once served a purpose and can now be gently understood and reshaped. At the heart of Claire’s work is the belief that healing is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about coming home to yourself – and, for couples, learning how to stay connected to yourself while in relationship with another.

Clients often describe her presence as warm, grounding, and deeply relational. Claire offers therapy for individuals and couples who are ready for depth-oriented, attachment-focused work and meaningful, lasting change.
